The holiday season is a blurrrrr! After our family Christmas gathering on Christmas Day we escaped the cold and windy north and headed south....we were dandelion fluff and we went where the wind took us....no one was surprised when we ended up in:
Traffic was unbelievable! Bumper to bumper from North Carolina to Orlando. Marcus was home for Christmas and we dropped him off at his new home in Cayce, South Carolina. Cayce is one of the suburbs of Columbia. We spent some time with him and then we were back on the road.
We stopped in Daytona Beach to get in some beach time....and take a ride along the coast. We will defiantly be returning to spend some time here:
Life is back to normal and today is a beautiful day on the banks of Rock Creek. The sun is shining and the air is crisp. I am trying to write a sermon for Transfiguration Sunday, Ash Wednesday, and prepare for the second session of the First Communion Class that I will teach tomorrow morning. Life can not get much better than that!
Blessings to you as we celebrate Mardi Gras and prepare for the Lenten Season.....
